One of the favourite chassis amongst Café Racers is the BMW R100 RT. Austria’s National Custom Tech’s latest creation also went that route, except it’s a bit different.
The engine went full overhaul with fresh pistons, camshafts and cylinders while the chassis was stripped bare and powder coated. NCT further accentuated its design by incorporating custom made exhaust pipe with an Akrapovič tip. For suspension, they went Frankenstein by installing a set of Ducati 900 Super Sport Showa suspension at the front and a single Öhlins at the back.
A fresh set of Brembo brakes for stopping power, a pair of aggressive dual-sport Heidenaus tyres for aesthetics with grip and a solo cowhide for the seat. They went for a minimalist speedometer and control switches from Motogadget. While it has an LED headlamp, it lacks rear lights, which is probably going to raise some eyebrows – especially for a man named Bobby. But one thing you can’t deny is that it is one of the best looking BMW R100 RT to date.
