Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster

Vantage GT12 Roadster

Words by Eduardo Lim, Creative Director, EDOHAUS

Take a stock V12 Vantage, modify it to track-oriented specs, and then chop off the roof. Why? Because they can. Bespoke division Q By Aston Martin is responsible for this one-off creation.

Underneath the hood is the same roaring 595hp 6L V12 mated with a single-clutch seven-speed Sportshift III transmission we get from last year’s Vantage GT12 coupé. It is finished in light grey colour and matched with carbon-fibre aero package while the interior is wrapped in dark brown leather with a centre console begging to be touched.

Yes, it loses some structural rigidity but who cares? I’d want one.
